In the wake of the devastating California wildfires, Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has opened her home as a refuge for those who have lost everything to the flames.
The fire, which began in the Pacific Palisades area, is being regarded as the deadliest in Los Angeles history. It has destroyed thousands of homes, including those of several celebrities.
While Angelina’s property remains unaffected, she has chosen to offer shelter to those displaced by the disaster. Other stars, such as Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, and Ricky Lake, have also been impacted by the fire.
The blaze has claimed at least 16 lives, with dozens still missing, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. More than 12,000 homes have been lost, and over 37,000 acres have been scorched, leaving many families in despair.
In a show of solidarity, several celebrities have stepped forward to support the victims. Halle Berry has donated her entire wardrobe, while Sharon Stone has also made financial pledges. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are offering shelter to those affected.
Additionally, Jamie Lee Curtis and her husband, Christopher Guest, have committed to donating $1 million to the fire relief efforts.
