According to Games Radar, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack will premiere in North America on February 10, followed by a limited release in the UK on February 26 and 27. This theatrical release comes after the global success of other anime films like Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and The First Slam Dunk, which have resonated with international audiences.
The film picks up right where episode 87, “The Dawn of Humanity,” left off, following a group of allies and former enemies, including Mikasa, Levi, Armin, and Annie, as they attempt to stop Eren’s devastating plan, “The Rumbling.” Eren, using his Founding Titan abilities, commands an army of Colossal Titans to destroy the outside world in an effort to end all cycles of violence and protect Paradis Island.

Director Yuichiro Hayashi shared that Attack on Titan was initially planned as a single cinematic experience, making its theatrical debut a long-awaited dream. Along with enhanced sound and refined animations, viewers can look forward to a bonus post-credits scene. This scene, based on the School Castes manga, depicts Eren, Mikasa, and Armin in a playful high school setting, offering a lighthearted moment after the intense action.
Currently, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack will only be available in theaters, but there are hopes it will eventually stream on platforms like Crunchyroll later in the year.
