A daring German couple, Kahne and Ermler, have set a new world record by walking a tightrope between balloons at an astonishing altitude of 8,202 feet. The pair surpassed the previous record of 6,236 feet, which was set in 2021.
Ermler, who took the first walk, shared with Guinness World Records that the challenge was intense, with immense pressure building up during the attempt. “The pressure was really high, but once it was over, it was a wonderful moment,” he recalled.
After Ermler’s successful walk, his friend Kahne followed suit, completing the feat to officially break the record.
